It captures details about vendor, cost, purchase quantity, and current remaining stock, and is tightly integrated with the IT Consumable Checkout template for accurate usage tracking and reorder management.

Description

This template organizes each consumable into a structured record with fields for item name, asset type, model, serial number, location, vendor details, purchase date and cost, and reorder thresholds. The template calculates the remaining quantity of the item using real-time data from linked checkout records and highlights low-stock conditions using visual indicators.

It features dynamic badges for:

  • Name – Clearly labeled and color-coded
  • Remaining Quantity – Highlighted in green or red based on stock level
  • Remaining Value – Automatically calculated based on remaining quantity and cost

There is also a visual section for uploading product photos and attaching purchase invoices. A hidden admin object stores a summary object for integrations and rollups.

This template is auto-linked with the IT Consumable Checkout child template, which logs each time an item is checked out and automatically adjusts the quantity remaining.
